Maui Ocean Center
Commonly known as "The Hawaiian Aquarium," the Maui Ocean Center is wonderful place to explore the wonders of Hawaii’s sea life, without getting wet. Unless you want to – one of the many highlights of the center are the interactive, touch pools. Other "musts" include a mesmerizing walk through crystal clear tube in a 750,000 gallon tank.
TIP:
The Center is a great place to beat the midday heat. Plan to spend at least an hour and half wondering the center and its beautiful surroundings.

Besides a shimmering collection of fish collected from the waters around Maui, visitors can inspect live coral displays (the largest collection in the nation), get to know the graceful Honu (green sea turtles), and come face to face with some of Maui’s more mysterious creatures – including eels, sharks, and rays.
To enhance the experience, fun and informative digital audio guides are available in several languages – plus, experienced naturalists offer lectures throughout the center and are always available to answer any and every question you may have.
Averaging over 400,000 visitors annually, the Maui Ocean Center is one of Maui’s biggest attractions for eco-tourism activities.
