Maui Marathon
Known as one of the most scenic and challenging competitions in America, The Maui Marathon is a 26.2-mile course runs that from Kahului to Kaanapali and along some of the most beautiful coastline to be found anywhere.
Tip: There are several road closures on the day of the race, be sure to check local newspapers or ask your concierge before heading out.
This marathon is the state’s longest running sporting events and one that attracts participants from around the world. For those not quite up to the full 26 miles, the half marathon is less of a struggle and equally stunning. All marathon and half marathon finisher's receive a colorful t-shirt, logo medallion, and a complimentary massage at the race finish area.
Beyond the friendly competition, runners and race fans enjoy a variety of lively and celebratory ceremonies, parties, and events that take place throughout the weekend of the marathon.
